Helene Royal is a woman with a purpose. That purpose is to educate and enlighten her clients, especially young women to become the best they can be. Growing up as a child, Helene was a tall, skinny, big eyed, big feet, tongue-tied girl whose nickname happened to be Tweety! At times she felt ugly, had low self-esteem, and didn’t love who she was. Today she still has those same physical qualities she had as a child. The difference is that she learned to love herself. Now she is confident, classy, and caring; teaching others, through self-development and etiquette programs, what was instilled in her at a very young age, that they are “Wonderfully Made”.
Helene is currently the CEO of H.R. Enterprises which is the Parent Company of her companies, L.I.F.E. Strategies Institute, Wonderfully Made Finishing School, Life Styles by Helene, and a non-profit company in the making.
Helene has been in the beauty/fashion industry for over 20 years. She attended Jemmerson’s modeling and charm school in Wichita, Kansas. After modeling professionally for several years she competed in the Miss Wichita Pageant. Helene was also featured in a fashion layout of “The Wichitan” Magazine. She has conducted dress-for-success classes at vocational and historical black colleges, coordinated and produced fashion shows and developed and taught self-awareness classes for girls ages 5-17. Helene has judged several modeling and talent competitions. She has developed and conducted, “Living to the Max” Seminars; seminars on living healthy lifestyles, personality type seminars, The DIVA series for women, and “The Edge” for youth groups and businesses.
Her other accomplishments are personal stylist to an up and coming gospel-recording artist and mentoring several young ladies to become the best they can be. Additionally, hundreds of clients have received training through her incredible action-packed high energy programs and workshops. Some of her clients include Kids College; UNT Dallas and Northwood University, Cedar Valley College, Fellowship Christian Academy, Antioch Baptist Church, Concord Baptist Church, Emmanuel Fellowship Baptist Church, First Ladies Ministry- The Urban Alternative, Tyler Street Christian Academy, Carver Heights Baptist Church, The Summit Education Center, Highlands Elementary, Ninth Grade Center CHISD, Girls Scouts of America, Jack and Jill, Girl's Inc.,Circle of Support, and several Day-Care and after school programs.
She developed and implemented the L.I.F.E. Training and Preschool Ministry programs at her church. Her varied background also includes a 19-plus year career as an accountant. Her fashion, production, and teaching experience along with her B.B.A. in Accounting from Wichita State University, have given her the professional, technical, and business knowledge to provide excellent service to her clients. She is currently completing certifications in color analysis, image consulting, and professional seminar leader.
Helene has been featured in the People Section of Today Newspaper, the McKinney Courier-Gazette and has been a guest on the “Valder Beebe” radio talk show and Sherry Bronson’s “Dream By Faith” television talk show. In January 2005, she was included as one of Today Newspapers’ favorite features of 2004.
Helene was married to the late Pastor A.E. Royal, Sr., and she has two “Wonderfully Made” children.
